MUSIKCENTRUM SYD took part in THE NORDIC NOW SHOWCASE IN NEW YORK ON JANUARY THE 13TH!
Four artists from Scania, the very south of Sweden, will be online via ZOOM from Sweden! MUSIKCENTRUM SYD brings them to the performing arts conference APAP in New York on the 13th January! Yes, you read it right! We are going to New York with a digital concept where you will meet with a selection of export ready southern Swedish artists! Sit down at our “fika table” and let us serve you a cup of coffee and “fikabröd” together with your new favvo artist!! Prepare to get new contacts and networks from the melting pot of Malmö, Sweden. Traditional dance music, Folk Barock, Finnish runosinging and chora from Scania to Senegal.
Also performing live on the night are the main attractions FRÄNDER and TARABBAND! Start at ca 3.15 PM!

Musikcentrum Syd will join the NORDIC NOW showcase at the Scandinavia house on Saturday the 13th! Musikcentrum Syd artists Fränder and Tarabband will be showcasing on the day!
Hialøsa is a trio that plays music from Scania. The trio is currently active with the concert "Scanian very old pop", which is based on traditional musical material, fragments, songs and new compositions. Disruptive, traditional and honest. The music is driven by foot stomping, intense violins and a rhythmic bass, energetic and always changing. Songs about life and death, memories of a past looking towards the future.
